I was in Beijing in February and did a search in YouTube for Tiananmen, ang got tourist information, but then tried tank man, and got a series of video linke to strong criticism. Filtering don't always work!
Every think else that I looked for was avaiailable, but not Wikipedia.

Public discussion of the massacre is still taboo in China. Millions of Chinese citizens have never heard of the tank man, so they wouldn't enter that search

"A young clerk with no knowledge of the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown allowed a tribute to victims slip into the classified ads page of a newspaper in southwest China, a Hong Kong daily reported on Wednesday ...

References to the massacre are barred in state media, the Internet and printed works, meaning many of China's younger generation are ignorant of the events."
